Did you know that Craniosacral therapy can help your newborn baby with a variety of challenges?
By tuning in to the baby's nervous system, and any fascial restrictions they are holding, the therapist can gently support the release of these tensions and the rebalancing of the newborn's system.
Being born is a huge undertaking, even when everything goes optimally...
Often, there are circumstances during birth, from the time in the womb, or upon emerging into the world, that are less than optimal for your little one. Craniosacral therapy can give your baby the support they need to release restrictions and traumas from their systems as early as possible, which can help prevent more serious problems from developing later in their life.
And, it isn't too late to bring your baby in for a treatment even if they aren't a newborn anymore. Their young and highly intuitive systems will utilize an opportunity to heal any chance they will get it.
Craniosacral therapy is indicated if your baby:
* is restless
* is crying excessively, is difficult to sooth
* has difficulties sleeping
* doesn't latch well
* favors one side to lay on, and/or one breast to feed from
* has colic or reflux, or any other feeding challenges
* has had a traumatic birth
* was born via a cesarean or with the help of forceps or extraction
* was born via induction
* has a tongue tie
* has any health condition
* if the mother experiences high levels of stress and/or depression and anxiety

Please note that upon beginning treatments with a baby I will always recommend sessions for the mother as well. The mother and baby are a dyad. In many ways the baby will be reflecting though their own system any tension patterns and challenges that the mother has. My experience shows me that babies benefit as much, if not more, from the sessions their mothers receive, as they do from their own treatments.
