First Craniosacral therapy session for an adult is usually 1.5 hr to allow for a thorough intake process.
Subsequent sessions are around 1hr.
The unwinding and integration will continue after the session, especially in the 24 hr following.
This might be the choice for you if you are ready to go deep in addressing a physical or emotional health concern, whether chronic or acute, seeking to reverse the effects of prolonged or recent stress, healing trauma, a difficult new diagnosis, symptoms that have been resistant to other treatments, spiritual intentions such as ancestral trauma and healing, chakra/soul-center alignment, etc.
Sessions for Children
Craniosacral therapy can be of great benefit to children and teens. Young humans, especially those with non-typical neurology (on the Autism spectrum), those that experienced a traumatic birth, have endured prolonged stress, falls, injuries, surgeries, or emotional trauma, can receive many healing benefits from this gentle and safe modality.
Depending on age, sessions for children can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes. The accompanying parent is, of course, welcome to stay in the treatment room with the child. Being the intuitive beings that they are, children often happily welcome the treatments after the initial introduction period.
I am happy to answer any questions regarding the possibility of this modality being of benefit to your child.
To Know Before Your First Appointment
- All bodywork is performed through the clothes and without the use of oil or lotion. Please wear loose and comfortable clothing, stretchy non-restrictive materials.
- Please arrive ten minutes early for your first appointment to complete an intake form, unless you are bringing one filled out.
- Five to fifteen minutes of each 1hr session is devoted to consultation and an overview of your condition and response to treatment.
- It is best to leave some un-rushed time for yourself after the session.
- It is best not to consume caffein at least two hours before your session.

Sessions for children/infants:
*Initial session for an infant/baby is 60 minutes due to the need to go over all the relevant information about the birth and time in utero. Follow-up sessions are usually 45 min. I always recommend that the mother of the baby also receives this healing work.
30 min: $90
45 min: $120
